Three-month-old Princess Charlotte will be christened on July 5, and on Monday the palace released a statement inviting well-wishers to take part in the fun.

"The Duke and Duchess are hugely grateful for the warm wishes they have received since Princess Charlotte's birth - many of them from local people in Norfolk - and are delighted the paddock can be opened on the day of the christening," said the statement.

The service itself will be a private one, but fans who turn out will get a special treat: Prince George is set to walk a few hundred yards to church.

The Queen and The Duke of Edinburgh along with The Prince of Wales and The Duchess of Cornwall will be present as Charlotte Elizabeth Diana is christened by the Archbishop of Canterbury who will be supported by the Reverend Canon Jonathan Riviere who is Rector of the Sandringham group of parishes. Playing with his mother, Kate and clutching a little red and black toy car in his hands, the cherubic 23-month-old was obviously heartily enjoying the family jaunt to the Festival of Polo at the Beaufort Polo Club in Gloucestershire, along with his father Prince William, uncle Prince Harry and grandfather Prince Charles.

The Duchess of Cambridge, 33, who looked relaxed and enviably slim just six weeks after giving birth to Princess Charlotte, ran after her toddler who attempted to run up the hill, was fascinated by polo mallets and even tried to kick one of the balls towards the thick of the action.

A new photo of Prince Charles and Prince George emerged.

The first time a photo of Prince George and his grand father Prince Charles was seen was when  future King made a video urging the world to unite to save ourselves and our children and grandchildren from Armageddon of environmental catastrophe.
